This unique
material was originally developed for use in space satellites. There
are layers of color and shapes in the glass that reflect in different
ways when viewed at different angles.
To get the effect, thin layers of metal oxides such as titanium,
silicon, and magnesium are deposited on the surface of the glass
in a high temperature vacuum furnace.
The
pendants are then hand crafted from the material. Each is unique
in shape and colors an example or two of each style are below so
show the slight variances from piece to piece. All are around 1/4"
thick
Angled
shape varies around 1" at bottom by 1 and a half inch in length
Rectangle
shape about 1" by 2" in size
Hearts
vary around 1" across by 1 & 1/2" long
Note:
Current hearts are not pink but with black as
the main color like the other pendants shown
Cross
shapes vary around 1" wide by 1 & 1/2" long
